iPhone 5 is definitely the most anticipated tech product of these days. Rumors claim that the iPhone 5 will be launched in August or October this year. Media reports that Apple has placed production orders for the new iPhone 5 displays with suppliers. Also, insiders disclose that the production of Apple’s next generation iPhone has begun since June, and screens on the new iPhone will measure at least 4 inches. While the whole world is waiting for the launch of the iPhone 5, we’d like to share with you some predictions and expectations about the iPhone 5. Let us take a look at what all we might get to see in the next generation iPhone.
Prediction No. 1: A totally redesigned body
Topeka Capital Markets analyst Brian White says that the new Apple iPhone 5 will have a new, sleek look which will require a unibody case. Considering that the last generation of iPhone didn’t include any major changes in the design, it is highly possible that the iPhone 5 will feature a totally redesigned body.
Prediction No.2: iOS 6
Apple unveiled iOS 6 beta at WWDC 2012, and is expected to officially release iOS 6 in September. Based on the release dates for previous iPhone versions, the new iPhone 5 is likely to be released in the fall, and the possibility for the next generation iPhone to run on iOS 6 is as high as 90%.
Prediction No.3: Larger Screen
The new iPhone is rumored to ship with a 4-inch or even larger screen. This rumor is highly credible: some engineers have made mockups of the iPhone 5 based on leaked design specifications and components; these rendered mockups are believed to be closest in appearance to the real iPhone 5. The renderings show that the iPhone 5 has a bigger screen than iPhone 4s.
Prediction No.4: iPhone 5 Price at $750
Based on the analysis of recent Apple share prices, Goldman Sachs analyst issued an estimation of the iPhone 5 price at $750. Personally I believe this estimation is for reference only.
